The heads and the representatives of the consortium member agencies (CMAs) gathered once again to review and evaluate the consortium directions in the field of research and development of the Davao region.
This gathering is the 102nd Regional Research and Development Coordinating Council (RRDCC) meeting. Among the consortium secretariat, CMA heads and representative is the prospect partner of the consortium which is the Philippine Science High School-Southern Mindanao Campus (PSHS-SMC) attended by the Campus Director herself Ms. Delia C. Legaspino and the Research Unit Head Ms. Rohelle T. Papasin.
The meeting was presided by the RRDCC Chair and USeP President Dr. Lourdes C. Generalao while the Consortium Director Dr. Danilo B. Pacoy reported the consortium accomplishment report. The lined-up agendas are the (1) minutes of the 101st RRDCC meeting, (2) matters arising from the minutes of the previous meeting: Vice Chair Sales' letter of gratitude, regional technical working group (RTWG) and focal persons special order (SO), Kapalong College of Agriculture Sciences and Technology (KCAST) membership application, (3) work and financial plan (WFP) 2018, (4) schedule of meetings (RRDCC Executive Committee and General Assembly) (5) request for a committee to translate strategic plan framework, (6) Consortium Director's report, and the 2017 consortium financial report on the other matters.
The agenda discussed was hefty yet each of them had given clear direction for the coming year's targets most especially on the issue of the consortium committee to translate strategic plan framework.
No matter how weighty the agendas are, the second part of the program lifted the spirit of the RRDCC body as they celebrated Christmas fellowship in the traditional way through singing, dancing, playing different parlor games, and exchanging of gifts.
The meeting and fellowship ended up with resolutions to the agendas plus joyful laughter to each one's faces.
